We do it for the kids

To inspire children in the regions to dream big through art, story, and nature.
To show them that creativity is a path - and that their hands, hearts, and voices matter.

What began as a spark has grown into a festival - and a model - for how small towns can spark big change.
It’s about walking more gently, with creativity, curiosity, and care.
Born in Goomalling, powered by community, and made for all.

The Festival

A free celebration of art, land, and wild imagination - open to all.

For two days, Goomalling becomes a living canvas: Live music, giant puppets, clay creations, starlit projections and barefoot connection.
From balloon glows at dawn to totem stories on grain domes at night, Biosphere Boodja invites everyone - no matter your postcode or paycheck - to slow down, look closer, and feel more deeply.

It’s not just a festival. It’s a movement to break down barriers, spark creativity, and make art and culture accessible to all.

Our Story
Biosphere Boodja is a creative uprising in the heart of the Wheatbelt. Born in the tiny town of Goomalling, this volunteer-led movement is rewilding imaginations and reconnecting people to art, land, and each other.
